Commercial Marine Insurance Advisor

For this Commercial Marine Advisor, the marine industry is a way of life. Ken’s career began in the early 1980’s when he captained a 50’ commercial long-line vessel based in John’s Pass. He went on to direct and manage sales for the high-end technical sport fishing fleet of Dorado Marine in Ozona, Florida.

In 2007, Ken launched The Fishin’ Mission, a local fishing club that emphasized family fishing as an outreach to bring family and friends closer together. The Saltwater Fishing Coach was his next endeavor in 2013, a consulting business through which he shared his love of fishing and boating with others.

Ken holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Communication and Marketing from the University of North Texas; his insurance licenses include the Florida 2-20 General Lines and Property and Casualty. He is a US Army Veteran and volunteers at various fishing/boating clubs with special needs children and boys of single parents. He also speaks at local fishing clubs and West Marine retail stores on various topics related to fishing and boating.
